Well this is great news for all. One school has pretty much decided that parents are too stupid, for lack of a better word, to decide what their kids will be eating for lunch at school. Solution...ban all homemade lunches from school, unless you have allergies.
$2.25 per lunch * 5 days = $11.25 per week per child
Another brilliant solution brought to you by a local government entity somewhere, Chicago this time.
I really hope that someday soon a school voucher system will be instituted everywhere so parents will have the options to pull their kids out of public schools and take there money with them.
